Rippin up the Rockies!

So, we just got back from our Spring Break '07 trip to the Colorado Rockies. The skies were blue, the snow was soft, and I'm happy to report everyone survived with nothing more than a few bumps and bruises. Certainly no broken bones, unlike some we saw in Denver airport on the way out! We tamed Breckenridge, Vail and Keystone. Beaver Creek however (home of the US World Cup Downhill) rather tamed us - final day fatigue was our excuse.....

[A rose amongst thorns - a boarder amongst skiers]

[Peak 8 Summit (12,840ft) - Breckenridge]

[Fat Tire - a local brew - was a much enjoyed apres ski tipple]

[Snowflake Chair - Breckenridge]

[Some say boarders spend more time on their butt. Hmmmmm]

[More Fat Tire - Bubba Gum Shrimp Company - Breckenridge]

[Beaver Creek]

[Definitely not Fat Tire - Spruce Saddle Lodge - Beaver Creek]

[Cheese. Just cheese.]

[Road Trip!]

[6.0L V8 and 366 horses. Grrrr!]
